宇田浩司出身于政治世家。他的父亲 Seijirou 是一位有权有势的议员和独裁者。孝司为父亲担任秘书。有一天，征二郎的孙女被绑架。绑匪要求征二郎在下午 5 点之前召开新闻发布会。第二天，他承认了自己为救孙女所犯的罪行。然而，征二郎拒绝服从这一要求。浩司与父亲对峙，但父亲没有告诉他罪行是什么，他努力寻找真相以拯救他的侄女。
Kouji Uda comes from a family steeped in politics. His father, Seijirou, is a powerful assembly member and an authoritarian. Kouji for his father as his secretary. One day, Seijirou's granddaughter is kidnapped. The kidnapper demands that Seijirou set up a press conference by 5 p.m. the next day and make a confession of his crime to save his granddaughter. However, Seijirou refuses to submit to the demand. Kouji confronts his father, who doesn't tell him what the crime is about, and he struggles to find the truth to save his niece.
