Her voice is within is a documentary short film built from the stories of women survivors of domestic abuse. Based on a casting call in social media, women survivors of abuse shared their stories with us through WhatsApp voice messages in an act of trust and collective healing. These messages are the backbone of the film, and it was from them that we created the still images that accompany the narration.
