The documentary film MAJA’S BROKEN WINGS is a true story about a youth cut short, about the children killed in Sarajevo, and about the generations that grew up in war conditions. The symbolism of suffering and the absurdity of all wars are condensed in the story of the life of the promising volleyball player Maja Đokić, who was killed while returning from practice in besieged Sarajevo.
