好友們仍於海外征戰之時，她因傷被迫退役，回到家中。當她得知有些朋友已戰死沙場，她仍懷著信念，盼望愛人能夠平安回家。
A Black veteran is sent home after being injured in combat, while her friends and significant other are still overseas fighting. As she receives news that some of her friends have died, she is holding on to hope that her lover returns safely.
