Born in 1938 in Gunsan, Korea, during the era of Japanese occupation, Akio Kambayashi's life took a significant turn when he was repatriated from Busan to Japan in October 1945 following Japan's defeat in the war. Despite this history, Mr. Akio Kambayashi, who returned to Gunsan at the age of 40, left a lasting impression on everyone at the Gunsan Junior High School reunion. He did so by singing the school song of Gunsan Elementary School, showing his deep connection to the place and the memories it holds.
