Porto Lovers ~ A Memory of Time is a drama, romance film, this Japanese-Portuguese co-production tells the story of two incredible love stories. In Portugal after the Lisbon earthquake in the 18th century, Soji, a slave who participated in the reconstruction, fell in love with Mariana, who worked in a mansion. However, his employer objected and was shot dead. In Japan after the Tokyo Olympics in the 21st century, the Japanese-Brazilian Koushiro committed suicide after being laid off, leaving behind his Portuguese wife Marina. The revenge strategy of the two widows is to lure the murderer to fall in love with them. When the murderer falls in love, they commit suicide in front of him and deprive him of his love.
