剧情梗概：
1937年，日本侵华战争爆发，万里山河，生灵涂炭。在日寇铁蹄蹂躏之下，当时的首都南京亦难逃沦陷命运。南京政府小公务员魏端本（邵峰饰）被迫抛下结发妻王玉兰，随逃难人潮撤往陪都重庆。路上魏偶遇小他六岁的美丽少女田佩芝（陈好饰），同为天涯沦落人，两个孤独之人惺惺相惜，最终结为夫妻。时光一晃，六七年岁月转瞬即逝。魏氏夫妇已育有一双子女。魏端本供职于某政府机关，他老实诚恳，迂腐木讷，以稀薄的工资支撑着这个小家；田佩芝虽为人母，却始终保持着天真活泼的性格，难耐贫苦无聊生活且虚荣浮华的她迷上赌博，从最初的小打小闹到后来的大出大进，导致家中的生活愈加捉襟见肘，夫妻间的口角也成家常便饭。田深陷赌局，难以自拔，为了筹得赌资，不惜结交黑心商人和放贷者。随着范宝华（于和伟饰）、洪五爷（袁苑饰）和朱四奶奶（何赛飞饰）等人的出现，魏家从此在黑暗泥潭中越陷越深……本片根据张恨水同名原著改编。?豆瓣
