剧情梗概：
该剧讲述了解放军军官马龙、女大学生莫莉、国民党恶魔中校之间跌宕起伏的故事。锦州战役中，解放军军官马龙在战场上营救了一个年轻的女大学生莫莉，但他不知道，莫莉的未婚夫林午阳，其实就是自己要一心寻找复仇的国民党恶魔中校。莫莉留在了解放后的沈阳，终于等到林午阳的出现，不料他仍然偏执地相信国民党军队会打回来，一次次利用莫莉的爱情，给自己做掩护。马龙的热情真挚和林午阳的冷酷阴鸷形成强烈的对比，莫莉苦苦挣扎在理智与情感之间，一方面与林午阳的多年情感无法割舍，另一方面又无法抗拒地被新中国和马龙朝气蓬勃的精神所感染和吸引。在组织和马龙的关怀和感染下，莫莉终于看清了林午阳的反动残余本质，关键时刻弃暗投明，协助马龙一同粉碎了林午阳的狂妄计划，同时也完成了对自身的救赎，坦然面对马龙的爱情。
