剧情梗概：
1944年我运河支队得到情报，日军在莲花镇洞山煤矿开辟了一个新矿区，种种迹象表明，他们正在酝酿一个巨大的阴谋。鲁南军区运河支队派罗启明冒充德国矿业专家沈绍元，前往莲花镇调查真相。罗启明与洞山煤矿负责人之女周雅青、矿警队长关天雄渊源颇深，如何才能够瞒天过海、完成任务，这个问题时刻考验着他。罗启明在调查中与矿区医生安藤美惠发生了感情，但新矿区的负责人、美惠之父安藤正吉却成为罗启明最大的对手。随着新矿区的秘密慢慢被揭露，周雅青和关天雄误入歧途，反而是安藤美惠站在了罗启明一边。经历了一系列血雨腥风的洗礼，周雅青和关天雄幡然醒悟，与日本人同归于尽。运河支队发动了矿工起义，罗启明炸毁新矿区，消灭了安藤正吉；美惠查明了自己的身世，与罗启明一起走上革命的道路。
