剧情梗概：
邪王石之轩武功盖世，但他害怕自己的一身邪恶武功将来为祸人间，于是将自己和封存住巨大功力的邪帝舍利一起冰封在邪王墓里面。进入邪王墓的唯一钥匙就是记载着上乘武功的秘笈《长生诀》，因此江湖上人人都想得到它，但它已经失落于江湖多年，无人得知它的去向。另一方面，杨州城的两个自幼相依为命的孤儿寇仲（林峰饰）和徐子陵（吴卓羲饰）虽然一直在干些小偷小摸维持生计，但二人天资过人，都希望学成一身好武功将来出人投地，于是想拜当地的石龙道长为师。岂料去找石龙的时候，发现石龙正与一武功高强的女子傅君婥相斗。原来石龙从傅君婥身上盗走了江湖上人人欲得之的《长生诀》。一番恶斗后，傅君婥取回了《长生诀》，但也受了重伤，寇仲、徐子陵和她一起逃走。这时，朝廷的禁卫军总共宇文化及率领一干人等前来抢《长生诀》，傅君婥知道三人再一起走的话肯定都跑不掉了，于是将《长生诀》交给寇仲二人保管，然后她独自引开追兵。寇仲、徐子陵这对自称的杨州双龙自此开始了他们的江湖之旅。
