剧情梗概：
22年前的朱莎娇（薛家燕饰）是澳门某夜总会的台柱，与港大学生祝展辉相遇后发生了一段情不久便怀孕了，无奈展辉要远赴纽约进修，朱莎娇诞下了女儿祝君好（佘诗曼饰），此后独自抚养。娇的金兰姐妹文贵芳因不堪男友的抛弃的打击，逼儿子文初（张智霖饰）喝下了腐蚀性液体，幸好及时发现才救回了文初的生命，但文初从此变成了哑巴，娇可怜文初，便收养了他。20年后，君好与文初都长大成人了，以兄妹相称之余两人都十分孝顺娇。金胜（唐文龙饰）是文初的好朋友，胜对文初也十分照顾，每当文受欺负他都挺身而出。君好终于在这时见到了亲生父亲展辉，认识了展辉的爱徒司徒礼信（马浚伟饰）。礼信非常关心文初是否能医治声带，想尽办法帮忙寻找医生。文初再次遇到了生母，但是在母子相认之后，生母却选择了给文初假地址再次离开。这时，文初与礼信都发现了自己爱上了君好，文初希望君好得到幸福而主动退出了三角关系。文初得到了礼信介绍医生的治疗下能恢复说话的能力后继续与娇生活。而娇为了君好的前程，故意一反常态，希望君好能离开自己……
