剧情梗概：
狂飙激进的十九世纪，浪漫主义风潮席卷德意志，克拉拉就是当时独树一帜的女音乐家。11岁时，她就在著名的格万特豪斯音乐厅举办独奏会。音乐的殿堂里，克拉拉自由徜徉，爱情的长路上，她从未寂寞。经过长期抗争，克拉拉终于和父亲的穷学生，音乐才子罗伯特·舒曼结为伉俪，他们四处演出，谱写了无数精彩乐章。1850年，舒曼夫妇带着孩子们离开汉堡前往杜塞尔多夫定居。挚友约翰内斯·勃拉姆斯前去造访时，舒曼饱受创作和病痛的双重折磨，几近崩溃，而好强的克拉拉却一心扑在音乐上，疏于家庭事务。六年后，舒曼孤独地死在精神病院，七个儿女也大多不成材，风刀霜剑严相逼，一代音乐才女的人生走到了最残酷的关口。。。
