Song of the Earth is a drama set in a small village in Bengal, India, in the early 20th century. The hardship of life makes the poor families in the village full of depression, worry and discord. Harihar wrote a poem and a script, but he encountered obstacles everywhere and could not be published. Six years have passed, and Harihar's house has become even more dilapidated, and poverty has always accompanied them. Endless troubles plague them.
