Production: USA 1962 Mary, a gifted young organist, is driven for a drive when a mysterious stranger is picked up on the road. The car accidentally fell off the bridge, and Mary survived miraculously. Later Mary came to Salt Lake City and worked as an organist in a church. Oddly, people in the city don't seem to be aware of her existence. The classic American cult horror film that has influenced its successors including Night of the Living Dead, The Shining and The Sixth Sense. There was also a remake in 1998. The initial investment of the film was 17,000 US dollars, and the filming was completed in only three weeks. Four minutes were cut from the first release in 1962, and these never-before-seen scenes were restored in the 1989 re-release. The standard edition DVD includes the 83-minute full director's cut in D5 format, and the picture quality is excellent after restoration. Dolby mono soundtrack.
