剧情梗概：

In Ireland in 1952, the social atmosphere was conservative. Girl Philomena (Judi Dench Judi Dench) was sent to the monastery by her family to do hard labor because she was unmarried and pregnant, and she only had 1 hour a day to get along with her son Anthony. When Anthony was 3 years old, he was forcibly taken away by nuns and sent to a foster family in the United States. For the next fifty years, Philomena was immersed in the thought of her beloved son. She tells the story to a reporter, Martin (Steve Coogan), who decides to go on a journey with her to find her son. This pair of seemingly impossible partners with very different personalities, between hope and loss, unfolds not only an adventure of a loving mother looking for a child, but also a witness of a friendship that transcends. Philomena gradually learns about her son's extraordinary life and little-known secrets. Can her belated love be passed on to Anthony who has been lost for many years? "Filomena" is adapted from the documentary literature "Filomena's Lost Child" by BBC journalist Martin Squithsmith, and it is based on real people and events. The film revolves around a mother's search for her son half a century later. It wraps a tragic story with a comedy appearance, which makes people feel moved while laughing and tearing. It also gives appropriate weight to the topics of homosexuality, AIDS and homophobia. "Filomena" won the Best Screenplay Award at the Venice Film Festival and the Brokenback Lion Award, the highest LGBT honor. In addition, it was nominated for 4 Oscars including Best Picture.
