电影《海贼王剧场版2：发条岛的冒险》，这部电影在其他国家或地区也被叫做或翻译为《海贼王剧场版：发条岛的冒险 / One piece: Clockwork Island Adventure》。电影于2001正式上映。这部电影的导演是志水淳儿，这也是他的代表作品，在接受采访时他说，为了拍摄这部纪录片，他筹备了很长时间。主演阵容也是非常的强大，演员玄田哲章 ,  稻田彻 ,  平田广明 ,  青野武 ,  田中真弓 ,  林原惠美 ,  堀内贤雄等都参与了演出，而且在剧中表现都非常可圈可点，这部影片制片和出品地区是日本地区。

剧情梗概：
在一个阳光明媚的日子里，草帽海贼团的伙伴们正在某个海滩悠闲度假。然而泊在岸边黄金梅利号就在他们鼻子底下被人偷走。一个礼拜后，他们仍旧灰溜溜地在海上漂泊。正在为难之时，路修等人遇见小毛贼博洛德和阿基斯。这二人正打算前往发条岛盗取名贵的钻石钟，而黄金梅利号很可能就是盘踞岛上的扑克牌海贼团所窃。不久他们遇见扑克牌海贼团的船队，然首次交手便告失利，娜美更被对方虏去。为了找回船和同伴，并得到钻石钟，草帽海贼团与盗贼兄弟燃气斗志，向发条岛挺进……本片根据日本漫画家尾田荣一郎的同名原著改编，是2001年上映的第二部动画剧场版，尾田同时担任作画监督。


On a sunny day, the partners of the Straw Hat Pirates are relaxing on a certain beach. However, the Golden Merry, which was moored on the shore, was stolen right under their noses. A week later, they were still bleak at sea. When they were in trouble, Lu Xiu and others met the little thieves Borod and Akis. The two are planning to go to Clockwork Island to steal the precious diamond clock, and the Golden Merry is likely to be stolen by the poker pirates entrenched on the island. Soon they met the fleet of the Poker Pirates, but they lost their first fight, and Nami was captured by the opponent. In order to get back the ship and companions, and get the diamond clock, the Straw Hat Pirates and the Thief Brothers fueled their fighting spirit and headed towards the Clockwork Island... This film is adapted from the original work of the same name by Japanese manga artist Eiichiro Oda. This is the first animated theatrical version, and Oda also serves as the animation supervisor.
