Plenty of free time, a remote cottage, and two people bound by a strong, difficult-to-define connection. Sounds like a simple recipe for an apocalypse or a cathartic conversation that will elevate their relationship to a higher level of maturity. The protagonists of Dawn flirt with both possibilities, occasionally trivializing the seriousness of the situation and pretending it's all about trivial, friendly banter.
