剧情梗概：
驻扎在印度尼西亚的美国CIA探员，詹姆斯·席尔瓦，从小就有狂躁症的他，却是数一数二的特工。他所属的精密作战小队从接到任务开始就不再归属任何国家的管控。正当席尔瓦的团队在为放射性核武器的下落苦恼时，当地警官李努尔，也是团队的污点证人，突然现身并揭发了核武器的所在。剩下的核武器所在地点被他加密 保存，他要求席尔瓦等人8小时内把他送出印尼，才会说出密码，否则所有未找到的核武器就会同时爆炸。时间紧迫，席尔瓦等人立即向CIA递交了辞呈准备先锋护送行动，目的是把李努尔送到22英里之外的飞机“天使号”上，并得到李努尔手中的磁盘密码。短短的22英里，却是危机四伏，当地的印尼特工为了追捕李努尔，对席尔瓦进行了沉痛的打击。但他们双方都不知道的是，俄方情报局正在背后秘密监视着整个行动，席尔瓦等人也并不知道这场行动从一开始就是场特洛伊行动。
