After a suicide attempt, Mārtiņš spends solitary days in the countryside and becomes increasingly lost in his own world. When his friends Dainis and Aleksandrs visit him, it becomes clear that what has happened has broken the closeness that once existed between them— it is hard to make jokes, to remember, to find words and to be with each other.
