Remembrance is a suspense and crime film. The script of this work is written by Takewa Qingdao and Tomoyuki Takimoto. It tells the story of three teenagers who have experienced their youth together. When they were 25 years old, they were investigated as a criminal police officer and a murderer respectively. The suspect and the victim meet again to trace the truth of the incident and the taboo past sealed deep in their hearts. The truth of the case and a closely guarded past that are inextricably linked to the three people will gradually emerge during the investigation. In the film, Atsushi Shigata, played by Junichi Okada, became a detective in order to escape the past, but he faced his past due to the murder incident. Shun Oguri played the role of Shifang's old friend and Tadokoro, the suspect who surfaced in the murder.
