Ichimei is a drama film. In the early 17th century, after a long period of invasion and annexation, Japan's Warring States Period came to an end and entered the era of Tokugawa Shogunate rule. Peace came and was replaced by a large number of warriors who were displaced and struggling to make ends meet. During this period, some ronin requested to have a disembowelment performed in front of dignitaries to save their face. Some were retained as a result, and some received material support, but many of them were scoundrels who took advantage of this to blackmail them. One day, the well-known Ii family welcomed a young ronin named Qiu Nu Qian Qianyan (played by Eita). In order to put an end to this evil trend, the Ii family made a fake show and forced Qian Qianyan and his disgraceful ways to be miserable. Die. I thought this would deter the blackmailing ronin, but soon another middle-aged samurai named Tsugumo Hanshiro (played by Ichikawa Ebizo) came to seek death...
