The Eight-Legged Monster is a comedy and horror film about the mining town of Prosperity Town, Arizona, USA. A truck transporting chemical raw materials had an accident and dumped toxic waste into the local river. Thousands of spiders owned by spider owners in the town were contaminated and became huge, and they entered the abandoned mines in droves to inhabit and breed. Small town Sheriff Sam Parker (Kari Wührer)'s son Mike (Scott Terra) discovered huge spider legs and suspected that the spider owner was killed, but his mother Sam Don't listen to my son's explanation.
