She is an assassin, battling her past demons and trying to keep her younger and extroverted brother, Jackie, out of trouble. When Jackie gets involved in a petty crime of robbery, he propels himself into the world of DNA Hackers, Shylocks (Loan Sharks) and Gang Fights. Wanting the respect that the world has never given to him only makes it harder for Jackie to peel himself away from the underground trades, against the hopes of his sister, Michelle. Michelle always wanted to leave the city and lead a calm and quiet lifestyle. As emotions and gunfire get into the way, Michelle and Jackie soon find themselves battling between their lives and finding out that in an immoral world, love can still survive. Gene Generation is an action and science fiction film that takes place in a distant future world. Michelle (played by Bai Ling) seems to be an ordinary woman, but her actual identity is a female killer hired by a human gene poaching organization. Michelle is tired of a life full of dangers and lies, and always wants to wash her hands of herself. However, in order to ensure the safety of her younger brother Jack (Parry Shen), who makes trouble all day long, Michelle is forced to stay. In the organization, one task after another is completed. What Michelle didn't expect was that one day, Jack announced that he would join the gang. What was even worse was that Jack, who had offended the big shot, turned out to be Michelle's next target. With his closest relatives on one side and the ruthless and bottomless underworld on the other, what choice should Michelle make? Blood is thicker than water. One sentence comment: Bai Ling's performance is better than that of Gong Li and Zhang Ziyi So much better. A cult short film in which Combichrist participated. For Chinese people, the entire value of this film is Bai Ling. I can't understand what these people are doing and where the logic lies. A possible Cyberpunk Cult: The Gene Generation.
