The Doctor is a thriller about unattractive doctor Choi In-beom (played by Kim Chang-wan) who runs a plastic surgery hospital. He has a successful career, a good life, and his wife (played by Pei So-en) is even more beautiful. However, there are always flaws in everything. Dr. Cui is vaguely aware of his wife's infidelity. He pretends to go to work in the morning and secretly returns home in the middle of the night. As expected, he witnesses a tryst between his wife and her lover (Xu Jianyu).
