"Swan Song" is a drama and romance film. Shunji (played by Miura Tomokazu) was born in a wealthy family. His father is an extremely conservative person and his upbringing is also strict. Growing up in such a family, Shunji fell in love with Xiaoxue (played by Yamaguchi Momoe), the daughter of the forest guard. Although the two were far apart in class, their feelings for each other were as pure and sincere as snow. After learning about the love affair between Shunji and Xiaoxue, Shunji's father was furious. What he needed was a well-matched daughter-in-law, not the daughter of a low-level handyman. In order to break up the couple's fate, Shunji's father sent Xiaoxue away from home.
