剧情梗概：
描述的卡拉马佐夫这个偶合家庭分崩离析的历史，实际上是19世纪下半叶俄国社会在资本主义和金钱势力冲击下发生悲剧的缩影。老卡拉马佐夫年轻时是寄食于富户的丑角，后来靠不正当的手段发家，晚年成了富豪。他贪婪阴险，性情暴戾，迷恋女色，曾娶过两次妻，一个逃亡，另一个被他折磨致死。所生的三个儿子也都被他弃置不顾，孩子们长大后都憎恨父亲，并且为争夺财产和女人而明争暗斗。日剧版将把舞台改为现代日本，以地方都市的杀人事件构成三部曲，第一部为直至命案发生之日兄弟三人对父亲浮现的不同杀意，第二部为命案发生当日，第三部为调查直至判决带出不同的关系及事件的真相。三个兄弟分别是长男黑泽满（斋藤工）母亲和其他两个兄弟不同，喜欢纵情声色犬马的他在失业中无所事事，可说是个二世祖。次子黑泽勋（市原隼人）在一流大学法学部毕业，表面纤细充满理性，内心却潜藏感伤困惑为兄弟中最黑暗的一人，三男黑泽凉（林遣都）是以精神科医生为目标的医大生，是兄弟中最正面为整个困局带来希望，其父亲文藏由吉田钢太郎演出，此外还会有纠缠于长男和次男的女子，文藏的秘书及执事等人登场。
