剧情梗概：
平罗县缉毒大队队长秦长岭因抓获毒贩小棒子，获知大毒枭马洪武藏匿之所，几经周折将马缉拿归案。马却不惜自残，制造保外就医机会，同时指使手下绑架秦的女儿，马趁机逃脱。秦长岭誓要将马抓回，却不料被马栽赃陷害。秦长岭沦为犯罪嫌疑人，并且很快被捕，为洗清罪名，他设法从公安局逃脱，循着线索，只身踏上抓捕马洪武的万里追凶路。追凶路上，他遭遇劫匪，躲避通缉历尽艰辛，终于将马再次抓捕。秦的罪名洗清了，可押解马返回途中，却因再次遭遇毒贩，不慎带着马开车闯入疫区，险些感染重病。秦长岭和马洪武被隔离在疫区，马的手下又欲将马解救分享者电视。紧急时刻，公安干警配合秦长岭，终将马洪武成功押回。但马拒不交代所藏毒品下落。为找到毒品，抓捕幕后大买家，秦故意将马放走。就在马与买家接头交易时，秦长岭带领公安干警将他们一举抓获。
