剧情梗概：
如果你有横财三千万，你会……很多人都渴望藉着博彩来买一个梦想，坚信有钱，便可以满足自己的渴望和不足，二十集时装剧「横财三千万」中的陈达文（夏雨）被财富冲昏头脑，变成金钱的奴隶，以致众叛亲离，得不偿失。保险经纪陈达文乃跌打医师陈才（关海山）及张爱（梁舜燕）之长子。文有一位亲密的女友夏晓曼（蓝洁瑛），二人感情稳定。文、曼尚有一位青梅竹马的摰友龚少东（林尚武），东自幼随文学习裁缝工作，个性内向寡言。文上司FRANCO（欧阳震华）欲将文重新改造成出色的推销经纪，但文绐终未能接受FRANCO的理论，终被解雇。文失意之际，却幸运中了巨额三千万彩金，遂入股于同学翟纪成（骆应钧）之渔港。文渐因专注事业而忽视了曼。其后在无意间发现东一直暗恋曼，并在重重的误会下导至双方感情破裂。文因不擅经营，生意失败。在感情事业两皆失意下，文结识了妙女郎Shirley（张凤妮），二人更共赋同居。在FRANCO的协助下，文脱离渔港，合作经营投资及地产生意，未几即变成亿万巨富。财富的增长令人变质，连文的幼妹笑娟（陈佩珊）亦质疑文的作风。正当文与曼重修旧好之际，却惊闻Shirley有孕。同时发现FRANCO骗去所有资产，文刹那间从亿万巨富打回原形，兼且负债累累，更加上发现原来才并非其生父……
