剧情梗概：
出租车司机李米（周迅饰）嘴里一直叨叨着神秘的数字，坐她车的乘客都得回答她一个问题：见过这个男人吗？李米的男友方文已经失踪四年，然而在这四年里又一直不停地给她写信告知近况，找不到恋人的李米把他的照片贴在杂志里让人辨认，每天生活在极大的折磨下。这天她载了一对从云南来昆明等待交易的毒贩子裘水天（王宝强饰）和裘火贵，这对毒贩在交易时发现接头人莫名其妙坠桥而亡，慌张失措时又遇见回头找钱给他们的李米，仓皇上车的裘火贵企图从李米这里抢回损失的金钱回老家。李米利用时机报警，但随后裘水天拜托李米寻找自己的初恋小香而放走了她。这边坠桥的接头人撞上了马冰（邓超饰）和菲菲（王柠饰）的车头身亡，马冰和菲菲不由自主地牵扯到这宗命案里。正好被逮捕裘家兄弟的警察叶倾城（张涵予饰）和李米发现了方文的踪迹马冰和方文长得一模一样！只是马冰对于李米的相认十分淡漠，...幕后花絮：1：拍戏期间王宝强为练习云南话，一到太阳落山的时候，就自己去菜市场听人说话。2：邓超表示自己在云南拍摄《李米的猜想》时，因形象问题差点被拒绝出演这部电影。3：为了拍摄《李米的猜想》，周迅还特意学会了开车。4：《李米的猜想》是周迅与邓超首次合作的电影。5：周迅表示邓超是一个很纠结的人，第一次进组的时候，大家陪邓超搭了一场戏，但是直到片子都拍完了，邓超还在琢磨那场戏是不是不够完美。6：片中有一场戏是周迅从巷子跑出，直接撞在行驶的车上，然后滚落在地。这个镜头有相当大的危险性，但是周迅表示拍摄过程中并未考虑到自己的安全问题，只是想着自己就是李米。7：由于剧情的需要，也为了突显出毒贩的性格特点，王宝强毅然把自己的头发剔光，力求从外表到内心都贴近角色。8：周迅在片突破以往的俏丽形象，出演一名为粗鲁又憔悴的出租车司机李米。创作背景：《李米的猜想》的剧本素材来源于一则新闻故事：一个女出租车司机被两个穷得走投无路的人绑架，在相处的过程中，两个绑匪被女出租车司机所感动，放弃了杀害她的想法。约定了女司机不报警后，绑匪将女司机放走。女司机劫后余生之时却想到，那两个人没有生计，还是要去绑架别人，可能就会有别人受害，挣扎过后她还是报了警，两个劫匪被抓获。但是女司机心中不安，认为自己违背了诺言。警察劝她这是挽救了那两个人，女司机心中还是放不下这件事，最后她去监狱探望这两个人，慢慢他们成了朋友，两个罪犯因为表现良好而提前出狱。曹保平导演不甘心创作这样一个简单的故事，整个剧本创作过程持续了大约五六个月，而最后完成的剧本已经基本脱离原来简单的新闻故事。影片改名：该片的改名经历了华谊内部的反复讨论，主创各自不同的坚持让制作团队分成了遭遇派和猜想派。以制片人王中磊，监制陈国富和邓超为代表的猜想派是制作团队中跟爱情死磕到底观点的代表。猜想派最大的对立面是导演曹保平，《李米的遭遇》便是他的原创，电影的名称也一度命名为《李米的遭遇》。最后，电影出品方华谊兄弟正式对外公布，《李米的遭遇》更名为《李米的猜想》。取景拍摄：《李米的猜想》全片在云南取景拍摄，导演曹保平表示之所以在云南拍摄，是因为这部电影与贩毒有关，而且影片也是要回到原始的出发点。但是在昆明的拍摄过程并不是一帆风顺，由于现场拍摄环境的限制，加上拍摄期间总是阴天、雨天，迫使导演临场做出了很多的调整。市中心的车戏是在昆明南城拍摄的，剧组把桥封了以后，前后断断续续在那拍了一星期左右。
