剧情梗概：
《两世奇人TimeAfterTime》由KevinWilliamson开发，根据1979年KarlAlexander的同名小说，以及根据小说所拍的电影改篇。电影版中MalcolmMcDowell饰演H.G.Wells﹑DavidWarner饰演开膛手杰克（JacktheRipper），在电影中开膛手杰克真正身份就是外科医生LeslieJohnStephenson，当苏格兰场的警探快要抓到他时，开膛手杰克却使用H.G.Wells的时光机去到1979的旧金山，而H.G.Wells也紧随其后，要把凶手绳之于法，剧版穿越后的时空定于现代。　　《镜花水月UnReal》的FreddieStroma先前已加盟，饰演主角H.G.Wells。《复仇Revenge》的主演JoshBowman饰演JohnStevenson，是个聪明﹑具魅力的外科医生，但实际过双重生活，他的另一身份就是恶名昭彰的开膛手杰克。　　为《超能陆战队BigHero6》角色Lemon配音的GenesisRodriguez饰演女主JaneWalker，是个博物馆馆长，H.G.Wells穿越到现代后遇上她，并被她迷倒。NicoleAriParker饰演重要角色VanessaAnders，她是主角H.G.Wells强力﹑值得信赖的盟友，是个坐拥亿万的商业女强人，拥有并保护时光机。坚强自信的她虽然脸上挂着温暖的笑容，但在这外表后是个受人敬意﹑甚至令人生畏的CEO。该角原由ReginaTaylor饰演　　《地狱之轮HellonWheels》中主演的JenniferFerrin饰演常规角色Brooke，一个纽约市的医生，她和JohnStevenson（开膛手杰克）偶遇后，被这连环杀手划入在下一个目标。不过当聪明的二人之间是那么情投意合，她令开膛手杰克开始怀疑自己的杀人动机。美国歌手兼演员JordinSparks饰演循环角色JesseGivens，是个住在纽约的造型设计师，同时也是女主JaneWalker的室友兼好友。　　近期时间穿越成了热门题材，NBC及FOX都各有一部时间穿越的剧集被预订。
