剧情梗概：
1944年夏秋之交，抗日战争进入最后阶段，一支半数伤员的八路军连队与日军一个整编小队狭路相逢，敌我双方拼杀尽没，仅连长陈铁拳侥幸生存。同时日军中一个叫秋山太郎的日本武士从日本来中国寻找妹妹，因为不堪忍受日军的残暴行为从日军营中逃脱出来，在寻找妹妹的过程中与同为武僧出身的陈铁拳相逢，两个落难的英雄和几个八路军战士组成了一支小分队在敌后进行了殊死的斗争。秋山太郎在和陈铁拳相处的日子里，感受到了日军暴行的残酷和中国百姓的善良，同时在血淋淋的现实面前也自觉地加入了瓦解敌人和反对战争的行动，并一直坚持到抗战。通过战争的真实性残酷性和在一连串惊险传奇的故事中挖掘剧中，丁海峰饰演一个雷厉风行八路军连长的陈铁拳，当遇到反战日军士兵秋山太郎（矢野浩二饰）之后，冲动勇敢的陈铁拳与灵活冷静的秋山太郎结拜为兄弟，共同抗日。随着与日寇作战次数的增多，陈铁拳学会了控制情绪，学会了团队意识，让陈铁拳迅速成长，并成为抗日队伍中的灵魂人物，不但成功营救日寇机枪下的平民百姓，还将自己的宿敌鬼子逼至绝境。
