剧情梗概：
华东野战军特别行动小分队尖刀队执行代号为血刃的行动计划，与国民党军统特务展开的复杂激烈的斗争。我党地下交通员池亮不惜牺牲生命从南京国防部夺取一份名为玉碎的重要情报，然而破译出来的情报却是假的，尖刀队长耿得胜也因此被怀疑为内奸。为了洗雪冤屈，被审查中的耿得胜劫持了特别调查小组负责人姜菊花，前往南京追查真相。尖刀队故布疑阵，成功揪出假冒破译专家的敌特，解除了对耿得胜的怀疑。耿得胜与尖刀队在南京会和，准备抢夺真正的密钥，却发现落入了敌人新的陷阱。在行动中，队长许铭战死，飞剑队的行动完全被敌人掌控。疑惑中的耿得胜决定自投罗网，探明真相。在敌人的牢房里，耿得胜终于发现了幕后黑手：多年前和他一起做地下工作而牺牲的妻子林凤兰，竟是国民党安插在耿得胜身边的特务美杜莎！耿得胜巧妙借用了美杜莎对自己的熟悉，查清玉碎行动的真相是国民党军队准备在淮海战役中动用日本人留下的毒气弹。耿得胜在监狱里一方面查找真相，一方面得到了青帮老大八爷的赏识，耿得胜准备与八爷合谋越狱，却因为突生的变故而失败。金镶玉买通典狱长制造了监狱暴乱，与尖刀队里应外合从监狱里抢走了胡子凭等人，耿得胜识破了美杜莎的苦肉计，并率领尖刀队去摧毁敌人藏在海岛上的毒气弹......
