剧情梗概：午夜凶铃：最终章是一部恐怖片，浅川（柳叶敏郎扮演）是一名新闻记者，现在带着年纪尚小的儿子阳一一起生活。某天晚上，4个年轻人突然在不同的地点同时死于心脏麻痹，其中一人是浅川的侄女。在追查案件的过程中，浅川发现4人曾经一起看过一盘偶像歌手松崎奈绪的歌曲录像带。而他的同事正好也告诉过他现在有人谣传，听过松崎奈绪的歌的人经常会自杀。浇川看了录像带后并没有发现什么奇特之处，可当他发现无意中看过录像带的旅店管理人也突然死亡后，心头不禁升起凉意。为了找出录像带之谜，浅川带着一盘拷贝的录像带拜访了号称刚刚以诅咒杀了人的年轻大学讲师高山龙司（长濑智也扮演）。Asakawa is a journalist.
